About

This is a very scenic and EASY PEASY ride. This trail is a one-way in and a one-way out.

The Prescott Peavine Trail is one of Prescott’s few “Rails to Trails” projects an Iconic and historic gem. It offers amazing views of Watson Lake and some of The Granite Dells.

On this Adventure, you will ride about 2 miles up to where The Iron King Trail connects with The Peavine trail at the “Point of Rocks” where you can see the historical marker showing a photo of the identical view taken about 100 years ago.

Stay to the left of the trail and continue on The Peavine trail thru more of the granite dells and beautifull meadows for another 2 miles to the Parking lot at the North end of the Peavine trail. That will be your turn around point back to the Trailhead parking area.

If you want to ride both trails choose our 2 Hour most popular Tour.
If you want to ride both trails and really take your time or perhaps have a small picnic by Watson Lake choose our 3 Hour Tour.

About

This is a very scenic and EASY PEASY ride. This trail is a one-way in and a one-way out.

The Iron King Trail is just off of the Peavine Trail where it comes to a fork called the “Point of Rocks”.Stay to the right at the Point of Rocks and you will enter the Iron King Trail, part of our “Rails to Trails” program.

It’s a fascinating ride! Along the way, every now and then you will see old railroad cars marking the hard work and tenacity of the old west. There is something ghostly and mystical about these old relics, observing and watching time go by for over 100 years.

As you ride through with ease on our pedal-assist electric bikes, you will see mountain ranges, beautiful hills in the far yonder and the amazing formations of The Granite Dells. It’s a dessert lover’s paradise.

You will conclude your halfway journey in the town of Prescott Valley reaching a paved roundabout. This will be your turnaround point back to the Peavine trailhead.

If you want to ride both trails choose our 2 Hour most popular Tour.
If you want to ride both trails and really take your time or perhaps have a small picnic by Watson Lake choose our 3-Hour Tour.

Riding on one of our e-bikes is by far the BEST way to discover these two amazing historical gems.
